Antibes to Mandelieu via Renoir’s House

Patrick is able to see again which has improved the safety of French roads considerably.

Today we finally left the old farm campsite at Villeneuve Loubet and headed all 14 miles to Mandelieu.

However, at the last moment we realized that we had spent 2 weeks just 3 miles from the Renoir museum so we left the van at the side of the road and took the buggy there. By the time we got there, it was 45 minutes before closing for lunch… Neverthe less we did get to see it and were very glad to have done so.

No piccies allowed inside but

The journey to Cannes was uneventful except for the process of filling up at the petrol station.
There is the van for petrol (front left); the buggy for petrol (rear right) and then gas for the cooker bottle (mid right) but over the other side of the yard – in that order. Confused? We were.
This was the first opportunity for me to take the D90 out for a play.
